Winemaker's Notes: The 2023 Rose of Syrah Concrete takes juice cuts from the best pressings of our Syrah Rose program. The aim of this Rose is delicacy driven by complexity. Fermented in concrete then lees aged before releasing, this Rose breaths more opulence. On the nose candied watermelon rinds combine with blood orange all draped by the aromas of freshly muddled mint leaf. More aroma past primary fruit becomes understood as liquored lime peel and aged dark green matcha. A shade darker in the glass foreshadows this wines more structured palate. A medium body is met with punchy acidity and a soft elegance in the finish. Drink now, or with meals.
