Vineyard Information: McNary Vineyard is a stunning, panoramic vineyard site overlooking the Columbia River at the eastern edge of the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. The site is cooler, and the temperature is moderated by the river below and the near constant winds that sweep past the cliffs below the vineyard.
Varietal Composition: 100% Merlot
Winemaker's Notes: This Merlot was harvested on October 3, 2022, quite a bit later than most years. The nose displays plum skin, baked black plum, and baking spices. The palate is plush and round, with opulent, ripe plum, black cherry and a hint of mocha. Fine, velvety tannins lead to a long, graceful finish.
