Vineyard/AVA Description
Beverly vineyard is our hottest and windiest site that produces bold and powerful wines. Beverly vineyard is planted exclusively with red varieties. The sandy soil makes you feel as though you’re trekking through a beach instead of a vineyard. This in combination with the heat produces fruit with deep dark color and bold rich flavors.
Winemaking
Fruit was picked at the beginning of October and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fruit was cold soaked for 3-5 days before fermentation. Cap management was strategic during fermentation utilizing pump overs and delestage. Once pressed and fermentation was complete, wine was aged on oak with micro-oxygenation for 9 months.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe blackberry mingle with delicate florals and enticing notes of warm spice. The palate is rich and concentrated, offering layers of dark fruit and spice framed by plush, coated tannins. Concentrated flavors carry through to a long, balanced finish, leaving a lingering impression of ripe fruit and subtle spice.
