Vintage Information:
2025 began as a moderate year, with average temperatures trending along with long term averages until early June, when several back-to-back heat waves indicated we would be in for a hot year. Nearly zero precipitation between mid-June and early September stressed vines and concentrated flavors until several rain events beginning mid-September through the end of October put the breaks on what could have been a record-breaking hot year in Washington State.
Winemaking notes:
The 2025 Albariño was picked on September 11th, 2025 after a long, hot summer. The grapes were pressed gently and fermented cool in a stainless steel tank for 32 days. The wine was then heat stabilized and treated with electrodialysis for cold stability.
