Winemaking notes: This Cabernet Franc was picked on October 8th and fermented on the skins for 8 days before pressing the skins. The wine was aged for 10 months in stainless steel vessels with micro-oxygenation and without oak to preserve the aromas and freshness.

Vineyard Information: Grapes for this wine come from two of our estate vineyards. The Cabernet Franc is from a 1996 planting at Four Feathers Vineyard, a hot vineyard site adjacent to the famed Cold Creek Vineyard. Planted on both north and south facing slopes of silty loam, this vineyard produces concentrated, powerful wines with classic character.
The Mourvèdre comes from vines planted in 2003 at Soaring Eagle Vineyard, better known as Indian Wells, on the Wahluke Slope. Planted on south facing slopes of fine sandy loam, this vineyard produces fruit forward wines with refined tannins.
